Grgur is an olive oil closely related to the history and cultural heritage of the first Croatian royal city. The name itself is a direct link to Grgur of Nin, bishop and advocate of the Old Slavonic alphabet – Glagolitic, which can be seen on a bottle.

Near the town of Nin, on a total of 60 hectares, lies the olive grove with 15.000 trees where extra virgin olive oil Grgur is created, whose fullness of taste and splendor is guaranteed by a winning combination of Dalmatian soil, sun, salt and wind from the slopes of Velebit.

Olives are harvested by hand and on the same day are ecologically processed exclusively by mechanical cold pressing procedures in the modern oil mill in Poličnik. The oil is kept in stainless steel containers that are stored in a cool place, with no temperature differences.

The quality of our oil is proved every year by chemical analysis of oil as well as a certificate for organic production and ecological processing.

This multi-variety olive oil is obtained by mixing the fruits of different indigenous varieties, predominantly Oblica, but Italian varieties have also been planted, mostly domesticated Leccino. Seedlings produced by our own production, from the first day are treated according to ecological principles and grow in a biodiverse environment together with fig trees.
